Introducing the Nintendo DS Lite

Effin' A! Nintendo is coming out with a redesigned Nintendo DS called the Nintendo DS Lite.

I must say this is a nice, sleak, shiny, Revolution controller-ish, iPod-ish, PSP-ish (a black version if they were to create one) design. I really do like the new buttons and the different positions of the Start and Select buttons. On the current DS, the Power button is above the D-pad, but on the NDSL, I assume it's been moved to the side, or some other place one is less likely to accidentally press it.

The Nintendo DS Lite's dimensions are: 133.0mm wide, 73.9mm long, and 21.5mm thick and weighs 218g. Compare that to the first Nintendo DS: 148.7mm wide, 84.7mm long, and 28.9mm thick and weighs 275g.

Sadly, we Americans won't get them until "after Spring." In my honest opinion, I expect us to get them late summer or early fall.
