Etrian Odyssey, from the designer of Trauma Center: Under the Knife and a huge seller in Japan is coming to the United States in the 2nd quarter of 2007. Etrian Oddysey comes from the same publisher as Trauma Center, Atlus USA.

Further demonstrating the DS as the most fertile ground for portable RPGs in the world the game known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan Etrian Odyssey has almost literally flown off the shelves since its release in late 2006.

A first person dungeon crawl game that looks to be in the spirit of the early Might and Magic and Eye of the Beholder games Etrian Odyssey uses the stylus to allow the player to make maps of their travels in much the same way gamers had to before the days of Gamefaqs.
